The number one priority at Camelot is the comfort, safety and the well-being of each of our residents…and peace of mind for their families. The atmosphere is one of warmth and welcome in a home-like setting.
Camelot is a state-licensed, skilled nursing facility staffed 24-hours a day with RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Long-term, short-term and respite care are available. Our nursing staff is especially conscientious about cleanliness, pain and wound care. Medications are carefully monitored and given only according to a physician’s orders. A facility medical director is on call at all times. The entire nursing staff is trained to care for such special needs as diabetes, cardiac, respiratory, tracheostomies, IV therapy, feeding tubes and bariatric conditions along with many others.
Attractive private and semi-private rooms are available. D Hall has seven private suites and a solarium for visiting, dining and more intimate parties for residents and their guests. Residents are encouraged to bring their favorite accessories from home to personalize their rooms. The entire facility is kept meticulously clean, orderly, and odor-free, with attention given to making certain the residents’ comfort and personal needs are always met. Well-prepared and tasty meals are served daily along with an alternate selection as well as special dietary needs.
Activities are wide-ranging, geared to residents’ interests and abilities. Bingo remains the big favorite, with special outings for fishing trips, sight-seeing, and shopping a close second. The “City Limits” dinner is always a highlight of each resident’s birthday, as they can order their favorite meal from any local restaurant on that day. Religious services are presented by several denominations each week, and guest groups provide a variety of entertainment throughout the year. Family visits and special parties are encouraged and even visits from the family pet.
Above all we strive to make those in our care feel not only well cared for, but cared about and a valued part of our Camelot family.
